MedDocket ICE app for iPhone and iPad

Med Docket™ ICE(In Case of Emergency) is an app developed for schools, for accessing vital medical information of students during medical emergencies, using a QR code.

This app is only for schools that are registered with Med Docket™, our online, web-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) application.

The app enables authorised and authenticated school staff in accessing key medical information of students, stored in their Med Docket™ web account, by scanning a unique QR code provided by the school to each student, along with their school identification card.

it retrieves vital medical information such as blood group, medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, or any other condition stored in the student’s EHR account, allergies like food, drug, environmental allergies, last date of tetanus toxoid vaccination, and medications, if any, taken by a student. This information can aid in providing medical relief to the concerned student.

It also retrieves the names, address and contact numbers of people designated as emergency contacts, and allows to make a call to the emergency contacts.

The app maintains a log of every data access request, including the student name, standard, GPS location, and date and time when the request was made.

The app requires internet connectivity, access to the device camera for scanning the QR Code, and optionally, location services that will help track the location of the student at the time when QR was scanned.
